A glimpse of a weekend at Miz Gooz Berry

This last weekend was an example of what our weekends are like.

Giant decorated gift box,  gift boxes filled with confections, 2 wedding cakes, 5 Celebration cakes, dessert and starters for a function, A Gourmet box function for 10 with flowers to match.

TUMBLES CAKE WITH MILK CHOCOLATE GANACHE for the adults and ICED BUTTER SUGAR COOKIES in farm and bug theme for the little ones. Bouncey bugs added a bit of movement to the cake.

MADISON`S 1st BIRTHDAY PARTY GOODIES

The theme at this party was Strawberry Shortcake. As we do not make any branded cakes, that are not my own,I look for other details within the theme and concentrate on those. Kitties, hearts, polka dots and strawberries.The finishes were all done in Pettinice.

Matilda has been with my family for 27 years. She was originally my domestic helper and then later on became my baker. She bakes all our sponges, makes ganaches, and assited me in making the Ebony and Ivory van der Hum Chocolate mousse for this wedding cake. She does not often get to finish off the wedding cakes.
