Our first Fairy castle cake went out this weekend. Tammy has been working on the Pettinice decor on this cake over the past few weeks. It was Nadia’s 4th birthday and she chose a vanilla sponge with buttercream and a Pettinice finish. She was a bit too shy to have her photo taken at the cake.

Well done Tammy, the more you do, the better you get.

“CHOCOLATE HEAVEN”

This was for a 40th birthday celebration. The base was a Tumbles cake with a dummy on top and plenty of chocolates, toffee, nougat, etc.

A CHOCOLATE COVERED FRUIT CAKE

Nomfundo choose a full three tired fruit cake. Barabara baked the cake and covered it in marzipan and I did the chocolate finish. This cake weighed a ton. Poor Pete. He had to deliver it .

WEDDING CAKE TASTING

  I think that some families are suffering from a sugar high this weekend, as slices of cake and cupcakes were taken home for tasting. The tasting was a success, as it helps the brides and grooms confidently choose the flavour of their cake.
