As businesses were  closing , the rush was  on to get those last gifts done, to say thank you to staff and client’s alike.

The Christmas elves at Miz Gooz worked until the 24th,baking, icing and pipeing cookies at a rate of knots. Desserts, stuffed Chickens, marinated fillets all formed part of the last minute rush.

You have phoned, asked and asked again. I have finally given in(weakling). 

Our cupcake workshops  are becoming more and more popular. Baby Showers, Pamper Parties, Thank you parties, Team building and just for FUN, these times together have proven to be a great hit. Numerous ladies that attended the first workshops have requested a follow up one.

Groups of 10 or more people participate in the workshop in the shop. No previous experience in cupcaking required.

We experienced our hottest day in the shop on Friday. The airconditioners did not help to cool the shop at all. It was 32 degrees inside and apparently 34 outside. The large fan ( I am covinced that it can fly a microlight) helped a little to keep us going. Pops celebrated his 90th birthday this week.

The Legg clan all gathered at the Ambience Restaurant in Edenvale on 7th November  for a luncheon, to celebarte this special occasion.

This last weekend was an example of what our weekends are like.

Giant decorated gift box,  gift boxes filled with confections, 2 wedding cakes, 5 Celebration cakes, dessert and starters for a function, A Gourmet box function for 10 with flowers to match.

Lezelle covered this box which was to have one of Lucia`s cakes inside.

TUMBLES CAKE WITH MILK CHOCOLATE GANACHE for the adults and ICED BUTTER SUGAR COOKIES in farm and bug theme for the little ones. Bouncey bugs added a bit of movement to the cake.

Every now and then a client gives you a challenge. This was one of them Jodi asked for a Tumbles cake in the shape of a cross with farm animals. The animals walked around the cake in procession, some on piggyback.
