HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY LIAM

I feel so blessed to be included in a family’s growth, from their wedding cake, to christening cakes and birthday cakes of their children.

Sometimes a cake is not always necessary, especially when budget is a factor, or Mom wants the cake to be gifts for the guests to take home. Here is a simple idea. It has been done many a time, but I think we forget how effective it can be.

Tammy is using the skills she has learnt in class to create the cutest fairies. Here are two which are to be used on a cake soon. We make them in advance to ensure that they set in time.  We can’t have floppy fairies. Rainy weather is a bit of a bother.

We have decided to make our next ones with a bit more muscle. These two are needing a bit more protein in their diets.

 CARD MAKING WORKSHOP BY LEZELLE

Lezelle is a fountain of ideas when it comes to any form of papercraft, beading  or craft project. She held a cardmaking workshop on Saturday morning, at the shop. Much fun was had by all. Tea/ coffee, chocolate croissants and jam and cream scones added to the day.
