MEET ONE OF THE TEAM

 

Matilda has been with my family for 27 years. She was originally my domestic helper and then later on became my baker. She bakes all our sponges, makes ganaches, and assited me in making the Ebony and Ivory van der Hum Chocolate mousse for this wedding cake. She does not often get to finish off the wedding cakes. On this one she was given the task to add the gypsophillia.

It looked great and the family and guests loved it. This cake was delivered to De Kasteel. Wow, what a stunning venue, built in I888, it has been fully restored.
