Peter, Nunu and I have moved to the mountain retreat in Mpumalanga, 30km from Nelspruit, situatuted on the edge of the escarpment. On a clear day you can see Barbeton. Renowned for its wild horses, mist and lots of rain, it is a special place.

Pop up Shop at our new home

A new range of confections that are gluten free, lactose free or a combination of both, not compromising on taste and quality are nows available, on order. I have developed a Spice Cake, Banana and Chocolate Cookie Drops, Cupcakes and more.

All my normal confections are on offer, with a few new surprises: Slices of my cakes, as well as mini cakes. The shop is open on weekends, with signs directing you to our home.

THE NEST B&B

A warm, comfy room, with a contemporary, French, Country theme. Percale Cotton linen, gas heater,a full bathroom , with a corner bath. Full DSTV, a fridge, a microwave and filter coffee machine. Miz Gooz Berry’s homemade rusks and cookies.

Breakfasts are typical of a Miz Gooz Berry one(not asingle fried egg in site), with locally sourced trout, Quiches,Cremelat cheeses, local and imported pickles, Italian meats, home made croissants/ muffins/ breads/ Amasi Scones, local jams and preserved figs. Freshly ground coffee beans, producing your favourate and  Twinnings Teas.
