Ballet Cookie Bouquet ,Baby shower, wedding cakes, functions and more

11th Apr 2010

It looks like the 10th  April is a popular weekend for a function.
After 4 wedding cakes. 1 wedding box wedding, 4 celebration cakes and two functions,  I feel bushed.

What I love about my work is that I do not always know what’s next on the agenda.

To all my brides and families we serviced this weekend, thank you and I trust that your special occasions were a blessing to all.

Kirsty and Warren’s Tumbles Cake

Congratulations on your marriage. I had two wedding cakes at Oakflield Farm this weekend in my favourite room. One on Saturday and one on Sunday.

May both couples be blessed in their marriages.

BALLET CAKE

This is our first attempt at a ballet Cookie Bouquet cake. Look at this Princess – Kara, who turned 4.

Happy Birthday Kara. On viewing the cake, she liked it but wanted a real ballerina. Oops, that is going to be a challenge for us.

I am off to my home town, Port Elizabeth, at sparrow tomorrow morning, for 3 days. Have not been back there for over 22 years. I hope I do not get too lost.

To all the kind folk who comment on my blog. It is great to know that my blog helps alleviate the boredom whilst on night shift.

I really have tried to fit a second post in a week. It just is not going to work for me.

Speak to you all next Sunday.
