True French Macaroons, at last

I am not sure how many articles, I have read , videos I have watched (in French) on how to make the perfect macaroon with its pied (foot) and moist filling. I have tried numerous experts recipes and have been bitterly disappointed.

I am now happy to say that I have finally mastered the “ART” of making Macaroons, thanks to the recipe book “I Love Macaroons”.  Thank you, thank you, thank you. I thought that I was losing it.
